No Animals Policy (with Assistance Dog Provision)

To maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort for all guests, we operate a strict no animals policy throughout the property.

We do not permit pets or other animals on the premises at any time.

Assistance Dogs

In line with the Equality Act 2010, ADUK-registered assistance dogs (and other trained assistance dogs) are welcome when accompanying a guest who relies on them.

Assistance dogs are not considered pets under UK law and are permitted access where reasonable adjustments can be made.

Expectations for Assistance Dogs on Site

To ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all guests, we kindly ask that assistance dog handlers ensure the following:

• Dogs must be fully trained assistance dogs and remain under control at all times
• Dogs must remain on the floor and on a lead or harness unless working tasks require otherwise
• Dogs must not be left unattended in guest rooms or public areas
• Dogs must not be allowed on beds, furniture, or dining chairs
• Dogs must not approach or disturb other guests
• Owners are responsible for cleanliness and any damage or mess caused

Dining Room (Important Notice)

Due to the small size and fixed seating layout of our dining room, all guests are served at the same sitting time. Space is limited, and seating arrangements may need to be adapted to ensure safe access and clear walkways for all guests.

We will make reasonable adjustments wherever possible; however, it may not always be possible to accommodate multiple assistance dogs in adjacent seating positions due to space constraints.

We appreciate advance notice where possible so we can plan appropriately.

Hygiene and Safety

We reserve the right to act if any animal is not properly controlled or if behaviour presents a health, safety, or hygiene concern. This may include requesting the dog be removed from communal areas if necessary.
